Wilson’s World: At A Locally Owned Ballantyne Restaurant That Is Honoring A Fallen Firefighter.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Linay and Mike Sheltra joined Wilson this morning at the Famous Toastery in Ballantyne. They are the parents of Fallen Firefighter Richard Sheltra and have just returned from the National Firefighters Memorial.

Famous Toastery Ballantyne will donate 10 percent of sales every Wednesday, until October 27, to the Richard Sheltra Memorial Foundation. Order online and your breakfast/brunch/lunch order will be ready for pick-up. Every order is made in-house with fresh ingredients.
The Richard Sheltra Memorial Foundation works to provide essential protective gear and educational opportunities to First Responders. Richard Sheltra was 20 years old when he died in the line of duty. On April 30th, 2016 the Pineville Fire Department was called to a multi-alarm fire at a commercial retail store. All donations are given directly to Firefighters for  essential protective equipment.
